So james and I went to the Ka-Ching Studio (I’ve stolen this name from someone on Facebook, its really the My Choice Studio for MJH) today to plan all the electrical’s for the house. Every room comes with 1 double power point to one of the walls and 1 baton fix light point to the centre of the room as standard. All the appliances have their own power points as does the garage door opener. Pretty much anything can be located where we want it to go except the appliance power points and the smoke detectors.
So in saying that, I don’t think 1 power point is enough and we will be changing 90% of the lights to LED down lights after handover to save some cash. (if you know a good electrician let me know).
So we added more double power points to walls where the gyprock is directly on the bricks just because the electrician will not have access and needs to be done during construction. We want to had even more when the house it built. We have placed 2 power points under the island bench in the kitchen where the bar stools will go, i was unaware this could even happen. And don’t worry mum there are power points for the christmas lights or as James said for the neighbour to steel electricity from us on the sides of the house.

- Exhaust Fans to both toilets

- 2 x TV Wall Mounts
- LED Cabinet Lights in the kitchen
- Pre-wiring for ceiling fans to Alfresco
- Additional Zone to Air-con
- Upgraded AC ducts to the rooms with coffered ceilings
